Richard "Mark" Holler
Bass Guitar, Harmony Vocals
After playing saxaphone throughout my entire school years, I switched to the bass guitar in 1969. I worked in a variety of quite forgettable rock-n-roll bands around Martinsville IN for the next few years.

I switched over to country music in 1978, when I was offered a job with Bobby Helms (famous for his hits Fraulein, My Special Angel, and Jingle Bell Rock). After a year with Bobby, I went to work with Darrel Young and The Last Stage West, where I really learned about country music. About 3 years later, the Last Stage West broke up, and I spent a few years with Doug Hagan & Southern Falls, and a couple of bands of my own. I later spent 6 years as the staff bass player at The Little Nashville Opry in Brown County IN, and another 3 years with Sheila Stephen & Crazy Heart.

I have owned and operated my own business (RMH Computer Services) since 1993, distributing computer software electronically.

In 1998, I embarked on a mission to resurrect the Last Stage West from the ashes, and play music just for fun. Darrel and Larry Young were both excited about the idea, and the 3 of us, along with long-time friend and drummer Larry "FatRat" Ratliff, made it happen. We shortly added Dave Jackson on pedal steel, and away we went, playing the music that WE like.
